Role Models is no longer trading
We'd like to thank our customers, our schools, our supporters, our team and our incredible role models for all the work they've done over the last 10 years. We end this journey thankful for the time spent helping thousands children build their confidence, develop meaningful friendships and try new things.
Explore the importance of effective communication skills. Learn how to listen effectively, negotiate, work collaboratively and develop confidence in presenting.
EXTENDED DAY: We offer an extended day on this course for a small additional fee. - UTC
The Collaboration Course is designed to help your child:
work effectively as part of a team
build strong communication skills
develop confidence in presenting
assert themselves
The course includes interview preparation & public speaking, focusing on confidence and both verbal and non-verbal communication. This is very useful for those approaching and preparing for 11+ or other types of interviews. These interviews increasingly now focus on group work and how your child interacts with others, so developing collaboration skills can be a helpful form of preparation.
The course includes fun activities which encourage the children to explore ways of working together to solve team challenges and timed exercises. They will learn about compromise, flexibility and the importance of listening. Specific activities include working as a team to herd ‘blind sheep’ into a pen using only noises under timed conditions, as well as making a team tower as tall as possible..
Our pedagogy is under pinned by academic research and inspired by thought leaders in the space. Read more about our inspiration here.

We're pleased to offer this course at Chelsea Academy, an outstanding Academy school sponsored by both the Church of England and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. It boasts modern and well-specified learning rooms. These inspirational spaces are ideal for children getting into a new mindset as they develop critical life skills with our Role Models.
Please note that unfortunately there is no on-site parking directly at the school.
All our courses are run in small groups. This ensures our Role Model can get to know each child individually.
To help with this, before the course begins, we ask you to answer a few questions about your child and any specific needs they might have. We will also ask about food allergies, medical conditions and any additional needs that our Role Model needs to know about.
It will only take a minute or two, and it ensures our Role Model has all the information they need to ensure your child has the best experience possible.

Our highly experienced team of Role Models are passionate about both education and social & emotional wellbeing. They’re energetic, engaging and curious. They’re adept at combining educational rigour with fun, to create active learning environments that children love. All have been interviewed by our Recruitment Team and are reference and DBS checked.

Our courses are not designed only for those who may be struggling with specific life skills. We believe all children can build on these essential skills in order to reach their full potential. Your child may need a boost in confidence, to strengthen their resilience or they may just need an opportunity to go outside of their comfort zone and challenge themselves by working with new people.
